Cascade Lodge - Whistler

In April 2008 we stayed in the Cascade Lodge, whilst on a snowboarding holiday to Whistler. The Cascade Lodge is situated in Whistler village, a short walk or bus ride to the lifts, village centre and supermarket. A big benefit for us was the proximity to the greyhound bus stop just across the road, as it meant we did not need to get a taxi.

We had an awesome room with en suite, balcony, an extremely comfy bed, kitchenette, washing machine and dryer. The staff on reception were really helpful and always greeted us with a smile.

The facilities in the hotel were good with ski and snowboard storage in a locked room on the ground floor, although we stored ours on our balcony. There is an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs. There was also a small gym available for all to use.

The only downside of our stay was completely our fault. We had to buzz the 24hr reception to let us in, whilst slightly drunk, because we forgot the code required to get back in after 11pm. It was very embarrassing so we only forgot it that once.
